Smithii vs CreateMyCoin: Honest Comparison

Written by the CreateMyCoin Team

Quick answer: Smithii runs dozens of Solana tools across 13 chains and points to Halborn and CoinFabrik audits. CreateMyCoin does far less, and does the one thing most launches need for 0.4 SOL instead of 0.8 SOL — a fully locked token, with immutable metadata free and a devnet rehearsal that costs nothing. Breadth versus the price of the mint is the real decision.

This is not a close comparison on feature count, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Smithii's catalogue is larger than ours by a wide margin. What follows is every published number for both, including the rows where Smithii wins, so you can decide whether you're buying a toolbox or a token.

TL;DR — The Short Verdict

Pick Smithii if: you need something from the long tail — Token-2022 transfer fees, an airdrop to thousands of wallets, vesting, a presale, an OpenBook market, metadata you can edit later, or a chain neither of us would otherwise share. Its two named third-party audits and publicly identified team since 2023 are real trust signals we cannot match.

Pick CreateMyCoin if: what you actually need is one correct token. The same fully locked mint costs 0.4 SOL here against 0.8 SOL there, immutable metadata is free rather than a separate billed tool, the mint account's rent comes out of our pocket, and you can rehearse the entire flow free on devnet first. For a standard Solana launch, this is the one we'd recommend.

What Is Smithii?

Smithii (smithii.io, with the tools at tools.smithii.io) is a large no-code tool suite that has been running since 2023. Calling it a token creator undersells it — token creation is one entry in a catalogue of dozens. On Solana alone it offers a Token Creator and Tax Token Creator, standalone Revoke Freeze, Revoke Mint and Make Token Immutable tools, Update Token Metadata, Token Vesting, a Token Incinerator, a Multisender from 0.001 SOL per wallet, Claim Sites, a Liquidity Pool Creator from 0.1 SOL, Liquidity Adder and Remover, an OpenBook Market Creator, presales, snapshots, a free Rug Check, and a long shelf of volume bots and launchpad bundlers.

Its strengths are easy to state:

  • Named third-party audits. The token creator page says Halborn and CoinFabrik have reviewed the contracts behind the tool. We have no equivalent, and it would be dishonest to wave that away.
  • Public team and track record. The team is doxxed and the dApp has operated since 2023, with 24/7 support.
  • Thirteen chains — Solana plus Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Monad, Hyperliquid, Arc, Robinhood, TRON, Sui and NEAR.
  • The long tail actually exists. Airdrops, vesting, presales, metadata editing after the fact, Token-2022 transfer-fee tokens — if your tokenomics need any of it, Smithii has a tool and we don't.
  • A multi-language site, and a cheaper entry price on liquidity pools.

The trade-off is the price of the thing everyone buys. The Solana Token Creator shows 0.5 SOL in its interface, with Revoke Freeze, Revoke Mint and Revoke Update each adding 0.1 SOL under Advanced Options — so the standard trustworthy configuration is 0.8 SOL. Worth knowing before you sign: smithii.io's Solana landing page quotes 0.5 SOL in its body text while its own structured data says 0.3 SOL, so take the number from the in-app quote rather than the marketing page. A devnet or testnet mode is not documented. And breadth has a cost of its own — a first-time founder landing in a catalogue of sixty tools has to work out which four they need.

What Is CreateMyCoin?

CreateMyCoin is a no-code token creator that mints an SPL token in about 30 seconds. It is deliberately narrow: creation, Raydium CPMM pools, burning, and a free rug checker on Solana, plus ERC-20 deployment on four EVM networks. The creation flow is one atomic transaction — it creates the mint, creates your associated token account, mints the full supply to your wallet, writes Metaplex metadata, revokes the authorities you chose, and takes the fee. If any step fails, no token exists and nothing is charged.

  • 0.3 SOL flat to create, with the mint account's Solana rent — around 0.01 SOL per token — paid by us, not added to your bill.
  • Immutable metadata free, on by default. Name, symbol and logo are locked in the same transaction that mints the token. Smithii bills Make Token Immutable as its own tool at 0.1 SOL.
  • 0.05 SOL each to revoke mint authority and freeze authority, in the same transaction rather than as follow-up visits.
  • Free devnet testing — choose Devnet, fund from a public faucet, and run the real flow for nothing before committing to mainnet.
  • Metadata and logo pinned to IPFS through Metaplex, the standard wallets and aggregators read. See SPL metadata best practices.
  • Raydium CPMM pools against SOL or USDC at a fee tier you pick — how to list a token on Raydium walks it through.
  • A referral program paying 50% of the service fee, settled on-chain inside the same transaction — no threshold, no payout queue, verifiable on Solscan.

Where Smithii beats us, stated once and clearly: no third-party audit, no Token-2022 support, no multisender or airdrop tool, no vesting, no presale, no OpenBook market, no metadata editing after creation, no social-link fields in the form, no liquidity add or remove tools, nine fewer chains, and the Solana flow requires Phantom. Our burn costs 0.1 SOL and our pool is around 0.4 SOL, both above Smithii's entry prices.

What Does a Real Launch Cost on Each?

Compare the configuration a buyer expects, not the headline. A token with a fixed supply, no freeze authority and metadata that cannot be swapped out later:

  • CreateMyCoin: 0.3 creation + 0.05 revoke mint + 0.05 revoke freeze + 0 immutable metadata = 0.4 SOL.
  • Smithii: 0.5 creation + 0.1 revoke mint + 0.1 revoke freeze + 0.1 make immutable = 0.8 SOL.

Double, and the widest single gap is the immutability step — free here, a separately priced tool there. Then add the rehearsal. On CreateMyCoin a devnet run costs nothing, so you can get the decimals, supply and logo wrong three times before spending anything. Without a documented devnet mode, every practice run on Smithii is a real mainnet mint you discard at 0.5 SOL a go.

Past the mint, Smithii's prices are often the lower ones: its liquidity pool creator starts at 0.1 SOL plus pool costs against roughly 0.4 SOL here, and a multisender at 0.001 SOL per wallet has no counterpart on our side at any price. So a launch that is just create and pool runs about 0.8 SOL here and around 0.9 SOL plus pool costs there — close, and sensitive to what Raydium charges on the day. A launch that also needs an airdrop to 2,000 wallets, a vesting schedule or a presale is simply a Smithii job. Full line-by-line figures live in our Solana token cost breakdown, and the deposit itself — which dwarfs every fee on this page — is covered in how much liquidity to add at launch.

Which Should You Choose?

Choose Smithii when your tokenomics are the complicated part

Transfer fees on every trade, a vesting cliff for the team, a presale, an airdrop to a snapshot list, metadata you expect to revise, an OpenBook market, or a chain we don't touch — each of those is a tool Smithii has and we don't, and no amount of price comparison changes that. If two named audits and a public team since 2023 are what lets you sign a transaction comfortably, that is a legitimate reason to pay more, and we'd rather you launch than hesitate.

Choose CreateMyCoin when the token is the whole job

Most launches are not complicated. A memecoin wants a fixed supply, no freeze authority, locked metadata, a logo that renders in Phantom and on DexScreener, and then a Raydium pool. For exactly that, you are choosing between 0.4 SOL and 0.8 SOL for an outcome a buyer cannot tell apart on Solscan — plus a free devnet rehearsal and a rug checker to inspect your own mint the way a screener will. Fewer tools is also fewer decisions: one form, one transaction, done. Check it against our token security checklist and you'll see the trust signals are identical.

"Sixty tools are an advantage when you need the fifty-ninth. For a first launch they are mostly a menu you have to read."

FAQ

Is CreateMyCoin cheaper than Smithii?

For the token itself, yes. Smithii's Solana token creator shows 0.5 SOL in its interface, plus 0.1 SOL for each of revoke freeze, revoke mint and make immutable. CreateMyCoin charges 0.3 SOL plus 0.05 SOL per revocation, and makes metadata immutable for free. That is 0.4 SOL against 0.8 SOL for the same fully locked token, as of October 2026. Smithii's liquidity pool creator starts lower, from 0.1 SOL.

Does Smithii have more tools than CreateMyCoin?

Considerably more. Smithii runs dozens of Solana tools including a multisender, an OpenBook market creator, metadata editing, token vesting, presales, liquidity add and remove, snapshots, volume bots and launchpad bundlers, across 13 chains. CreateMyCoin covers token creation, Raydium CPMM pools, burning and a rug checker on Solana plus four EVM networks. If you need the long tail, Smithii has it.

Is Smithii audited?

Smithii's token creator page states that Halborn and CoinFabrik have reviewed the contracts behind the tool, and its team is publicly identified with the dApp running since 2023. CreateMyCoin has no third-party audit to point to. Both are non-custodial: you sign every transaction in your own wallet and neither platform holds your keys.

Can I test a token for free before paying on mainnet?

On CreateMyCoin, yes — select Devnet in the network selector, fund the wallet from a public faucet, and run the identical flow at no cost. Smithii does not document a devnet or testnet mode for its Solana token creator, so plan on your first run being a paid mainnet run.

Which should I use for a Solana memecoin launch?

For a straightforward memecoin — fixed supply, no freeze authority, locked metadata, then a Raydium pool — CreateMyCoin does it for half the platform fee and lets you rehearse free on devnet first. Choose Smithii if you need Token-2022 transfer fees, an airdrop to many wallets, vesting, a presale, or the reassurance of named third-party audits.

One Form. One Transaction. 0.4 SOL.

Fixed supply, no freeze authority, immutable metadata included — rehearse it free on devnet before you spend a lamport.
